I got my desk all put together! Yay! This means that I can have my table back for other things, like eating, and also that my keyboard is actually at a reasonable height. This will be a lot better for my hands, I'm sure. It is the first time in quite a while that I have had a comfortable computer set up at home. Lat year, I had a decent desk, but a shitty chair and not enough room to sit comfortably. I suppose the last time I had it so good was in Waterloo, but the desk there wasn't designed as a computer desk, and far a far cry from being ergonomic.

This is the longest it has ever taken me to do a project like this. Usually it is only a matter of hours. The desk is pretty okay, but some of the hardware was stripped which made it really frustrating to deal with. I don't think I have enough screws left here to put together the book case that came with it, even if I had the patience. Another day. For now, I will enjoy my new desk :) I think I might need to get a new lamp for over here though, it is pretty dark where I am set up.
