elanya at 04:12pm on 28/03/2002My skirt! It is here! Along with the rest of my rock collection, some chocolate hearts and foil eggs, and a bunch or pretty random charactersheets, but including the ones I asked for...
Anyway! I just finished puytting inthe elastic and sewing up the waistband. It moves so much better than I had hoped. I showed if off to one of my flatmates already, because she was here :D Tonight I'm going to go show it off to Mary and Ian... Maybe I can convince Ian t ake a picture of my on his digital camera, and then I can show it off to more people :D
It is gorgeous! Six tiers, in marigold colours, I think is the best way to describe it... The only thing is that I'm not sure if I should double hem it on the bottom or not. The jacquard is realy fluffing. Maybe I cold melt is if I were really really careful, but I'm not sure I'd want to take the chance. Hmmm... Any sewing types out there have any suggestiong? Any sewing types out their, period?
