The consequence of all my napping yesterday was that I didn't get to sleep until late (bed around 12:30, sleep closer to 3, I'd wager ;p). On top of that I had to come in extra early to see one of my proffs, since I was going to be busy during his office hours (waiting for my stuff, bah!). So I expect that at some point today, I will turn on my classmates and start in munching their delicious tasty brains. Maybe I'll start with that annoying guy who won't shut the hell up about how amazing the American Navy is (undergrad, bah!). Stroke it in private, asshat.

Speaking of grey matter, my scent of the day is Ambergris. The most lovely smelling whale by-product ever. I *really* like it, even on its own (it is one of the single notes, and also a freebie), and it wears on me quite well. I would certainly weari it alone, and may look in to some other imps in which it plays a part.

I do wonder, however, just how much it has to do with *real* ambergris... Which I didn't really think of so much as a scent, though its association with the perfume buisness has a long history. This smells kind of musky... almost amber-y? It's hard to describe, I guess, but trust me, it is nice even if it does come from a fancy kind of dead whale crap ^-^ Maybe I should ask on the BPAL lj or the forum.
