back to school

So, term starts.... next week, I think?

I have until Friday to pay for my fees and such, which hopefully will be possible.

I need to figure out how I'm going to organize my time this semester - I have teaching, and research, and that will have to include grant applications and finishing my article for publication. ugh.

Well today I am going in to clean out the rest of the stuff from my old office and find out where my new one is :o and return keys, distribute cakes, etc. wooh!

Going now, no really!

*facepalm*

I didn't sumbit an abstract for SHA this year - I though I might take a year off, and I didn't know what, if anything, i might have ready to say about my fieldwork...

Of course now I look at the program and see that apparently the theme of the year 'Coastal Connections', was pretty much custom designed for my sort of research....

Oh well >_<

ETA: The program looks really good this year too... Well, maybe I can volunteer for free registration and find someone else to room/travel with, hrm :x

Ahh there they are - the post-travel-blues.

After having been in the field and living with two other girls for three weeks, I don't want to see anyone in person, but don't really want to be completely alone.

And of course tonight the internet is painfully dead tonight....

Maybe I'll try taking a bath and reading, hrm.
