Anyone local interested in seeing Inglorious Basterds (or however it is spelled) or District 9 tonight or sometime soon?

In other news i have done nothing today that I should have. Well I guess I will try and get some bits done this afternoon after I meet with Tom. I should get ready to go in to school I guess :x

-look through cult anth book for readings
-look through and organize receipts once I break up what I'm claiming from who for my research
-re-package artifacts
-movie?

In other news - met some first years, saw some other fellow grads, met with Tom and talked about teaching. All is well. Going home now.

Having my own office is sweeeeet.

When i was in Junior High and highschool, I was in the sea cadets. i was a snare drummer in the cadet band. I actually taught for a year at the 6 week band camp, after having attended for a few years..... but by then I'd grown out of most of what i felt i could learn at cadets.

I still miss the drumming though. An old friend of mine linked me to this Swiss drum corps on facebook. They're really incredible! It makes me miss drumming something fierce... I flatter myself that when i was in to it i could have held my own with these guys pretty well, but that is probably a lie.

Anyway - watch them! they kick major ass.
