The past couple of day have been awesome. Hanging around Ian, however, is making me want to use more British colloquialisms... It fact it has been really ace! Yesterday we played the crap out of Arkham Horror, a Mythos based board game. We prevented Hastur from manifesting, which was really for the best as he would have been impossible to defeat otherwise.

Today started off not so well, with having to accompany my sister for an emergency root canal. But it ended with going to the Wet Spots Live for the release of their new CD, Hello Kinky. It was awesome, and Rob got to go on stage and smack the hell out of Cass King's bottom, in fact, and have his smacked in return. He drank close to 3 L of beer this evening, though he would like me to say close to 4. Definitely two. A good time was had by all. The Wet spots are brilliant, as ever, but they are a ton of fun live. They are actually leaving in the morning for a world tour, and if they are coming to your area, you sure as hell ought to go and check them out!

So, I slept quite well, apart from the usual waking up at stupid o'clock to shut the windows and close out the noise of construction. ian called around ten, looking to see if Ro and I wanted ton play Arkham Horror before he met Hazel at two. We eventually decided we did, and with proper motivation (the game is that awesome!) we were able to leave the house quite quickly. Since we actually knew what we were doing, we managed to Defeat Cthulhu himself in the time we had, ending the game around 20 after 1. Then we came back here and printed hazel and Ian's e-tickets for their flight to Fredericton, and Ian took off shortly afterwords to meet her for her follow up dentist visit. Rob napped, and I did some computer faffing and laundry. I e-mailed London, as it is the end of the month and I have not heard anything yet. Hopefully they can get back to me on Monday. I tried calling Hazel's temp bureau, but they aren't open on Fridays, so boo. I fixed up my resume a bit as well, and will try some other places on Monday as well. then i did more laundry and naped, as I had (and have) a headache. Then I posted logs from last week's game, and chatted with some awesome people. Now I am going to take a bath and think about some of my stories, probably Ice as I'm in a good Mythos mindset lately. Then dinner and writing, and game later on, wheeee!

Julie, Steve and Arthur are all safe in Montreal. However, because bell are bunch of cocks, they probably won't have internet until next Wednesday :p
