I did my US taxes tonight. I think it is all correct :o I guess I technically still have to do state taxes. You know I don't think I did them last year. Oops? Well it isn't like I owed them anything :p Maybe I should not do them this year either? Finding the stuff I need would be *effort* ;)

So I still need to do Canadian taxes, which is always more of a hassle. I need to track down the 'Tuition Fees and Education - University Outside Canada' form again, and after that I'm probably safe to load up netfile. The most annoying thing is that I can't remit over the net at all! Ahh well. I will probably get monies back. I can't imagine why I wouldn't...

In other news, I finished my horsey presentation and managed to restrain my sillyness to only using MLP bullet points,. But I have *different mlp bullet points for the presentation and handout this time ;) The other thing I did today was send my proposal back to UCL, hopefully for the last time. I am going to focus on the 18th century port developments because I want to look at a fairly wide geographical area. We'll see what he thinks anyway. Hopefully I can start getting my ORSAS stuff together soon, considering it has to be there by the first... Well, I have the forms, nothing to stop me filling them in ;)

In the end, no thesis work today, which is why this is not an official progress report, but I got a ton of other stuff done, so I can accept that. tomorrow I get chapters back, and hopefully will have an opportunity to finish my data entry before or after Michelle's thingy.

So... I have everything done for the Horsies, and 15 min to kill before class. I have nothing better to do than spam LJ!

So some random notes:

I learned today that if I want tograduate this term, then I need ot have my thesis defended and submitted to the graduate school by April 17th. Eeep! Well, i can probably manage that. And if I can't as long as I defend before the end of the term, I'm okay.

In other news, I just read the most annoying V for Vendetta review ever. It annoyed me because it gives full credit, for the story and everything, to the Wachowski brothers. Also it said that Natalie Portman's debut was in Star Wars. Ummm... no and no! The reviewer liked the movie, but was clueless. Clueless! How do people get jobs doing things they are clearly not qualified for? Well, that's Greenville for you :p

In other other news, I have not heard more from Michelle and thus have no idea what's going on tonight :o

I am feeling really lucky today, for lots of reasons

I am pretty and smart
I have a healthy self image
I have more awesome, wonderful friends around the world than it is possible to shake a stick at, or possibly even multiple sticks.
I have a healthy relationship with my family
I have the best sister ever
I have a good education, a superb one, even
I do not have any serious debt
I am fairly healthy
I have a full larder :)
The grapes are in bloom!
It is a nice day and even though I didn't check the weather, I was dressed well for the temperature
I am a creative person with many different outlets available to me for expression
I have a good appreciation of time - I don't need to rush all the time and I am pretty okay with setting priorities
I still have three cream eggs in my cupboard, plus some mini snickers and other assorted candy
I can take care of myself
I can cook well
I can afford to be frivolous
I am a nice person
I am done all my presentations for class now!

I am sure there is more, but really I should work on my thesis and not just ramble on about how awesome my life is :D

So I went out, we had corned beef and cabbage as a sort of belated Sgt. pats day thing, because Michelle loves Ireland ;) Also Matt really really *really* likes it apparently. There was cake, and it was frickin' good. whipped creme + vanilla pudding = damned good frosting :) Talked for several hours, had ferrets try to storm my private castle (unsuccessfully). Could have gone back to House of Dina for continued fun and relaxation, opted to come home and thesis, and maybe try to go to bed early, which mens preferably before two. And hopefully I will actually sleep, though I am tempted to drug myself with a tyleol cold... I shoulg get some Tylenol PM, I think. Maybe that would help.

Anything else? Well I finished my data entry earlier tonight, and now I am working on analysis bits, so, yay, progress! I want to see if I can get my categories done tonight, but I am pretty damned sleepy. Also if I do't get anything done, I'll just be bitter that I didn't cave and go to Dina's ^-^
