This is a semi-official progress report, but I'll save that until the end. I just posted two things over at measured_words. One is this week's installment of Pieces. The other is an older smut story, because I am hoping to post a lot of my older stuff and people have been harassing me about my written smut lately ;)

All in all, I've had a damned good day. Let's review:
-woke up around 10-11
-watched two hours of TV (House and Gargoyles)
-maybe had a bit of a lay down, but I don't really remember
-had a nice long bath with book (Perfume, The Story of a Murderer)
-chatted with sister online
-talked to Jae for about an hour
-worked on Thesis and got over quota done
-chatted with more peeps online
-washed dishes
-made and ate dinner
-made cupcakes (bet you did't see that one coming! ;)
-washed and dried 1 load of laundry
-finished and posted this week's installment of Pieces before midnight! On Saturday!
-edited and posted another older story.

So now, I am torn about what to do. I could make frosting for my cupcakes, or I could play on the wikis. I'm not sure if I am mentally awake enough to do anything original, but I may edit logs or put up more of the stuff for the Five Kingdoms game.

Progress Report 11/03/06
I think today is the 'one month to go!' day. I am pretty sure it is April 11. So, 31 days. I think I can do it, especially if I stay on top of things this week. I have nothing else to do, so I can pace myself well. I should also work on stuff for my class, including my last presentation (a week on Thursday) and paper, and also on my UCL proposal. I will try to make a better schedule on Monday.

Today I got a little over my 1 page quota done, but the bonus may disappear since I have Exia tomorrow and have been slow about getting started. We shall see!

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I'm fairly confident that it is not usual to go to bed at 2:30 and wake up again at 5 AM without being able to get back to sleep. Now to be honest, I don't remember if I took a nap yesterday in the early afternoon, but I known I didn't have one between the hours of three and three. I am pretty sure there was no actual nap, though I may have laid down for a bit before I hit upon the idea of a bath. I *did* have a glass of tea with my dinner around eight or so, but usually caffeine stops me from falling asleep in the first place. It doesn't cause me to wake up two hours after I've fallen asleep. The fact that this is the third or fourth night in a row of this ridiculousness leads me to seek other causes, but unsuccessfully.

Dude! I want to sleep more :(

In addition, my stomach is feeling especially acidic atm, and the zantac I took does not seem to be helping. Boo!

I guess I will go back to bed and see if reading my insomnia book will help any. I have just combed through the internet in the usual places and there was not much distraction to be found. Funny that :p

In other news, there is a cacophony of bird sounds coming in through the open window in my computer room. I'm glad that my bedroom is shut because I can't see how I'd ever sleep with such a racket :o

Hmm... It is march break, and Friday is that crazy pseudo-Irish holiday, I say pseudo-Irish because to my knowledge it is much more popular in North America than Ireland. I am thinking of seeing if I can do a dinner thing with people I know here. I get paid on Wednesday and will be able to afford real Groceries, for once, and I've also been wanting to make a roast. I could do a nice roast or pot roast and some potato thing with veggies, and something exciting for dessert. Something green, probably ;D Maybe green and minty..

I will call the usual suspects here to see if there is any interest. Afterwards there could be drinking, or we could see about going out somewhere for a bit... could be fun! However, although I am more than willing to cook foods here, I'm not sure if I could host such a thing, depending on space. And people may have other plans anyway. We shall see, tsiankiio, thoughts? I'll call the other ladies later:D Also, speaking of, if you are going to be in town, would you be willing to take me Real Grocery Shopping on Wednesday? I would be much obliged.
