Nothing to see here

I don't know what to do with my day. I should go to the library, if I'm not working on thesis things today, and look up stuff on cogs form my only actual paper this term. that would be a good and productive thing to do. I did marking yesterday, which is technically productive school work, but doesn't help *me* achieve anything much, so I don't necessarily feel that it counts. I also finished writing two things yesterday, ish. One is the thing I posted, the other is this week's installment of Pieces. I was to review it before I post it though, since it was about 3 when I came to an end. It is probably the most mundane thing I have ever written for Daniel. I was planning on adding more introspection, but it was already Long Enough, at ~3 pages. At this point I will probably do the writing journal thing, I'm thinking, as long as I can find/make good icons. Rar

I also need to go out somewhere and pick up some stuffs... I managed to run completely out of conditioner, and am low on toothpaste. I guess I should do that, then.

I got am e-mail from hazel this Am: she is doin' well, as far I as could ascertain, but hasn't been anywhere with much internet. She has met The Mother though ;)

...I thought I posted this before I left! Well, I've returned from shopping, and I have now had my first cream egg of the season. Bliss ^-^ I think I will do online data mining today and look over my lecture for Wednesday.

-Lisa's biscuits are still the best biscuit recipe I have ever eaten/made, ever ever ever, and they are especially delicious straight from the oven, slathered in butter and raspberry jam.

-I have done a little work today, but mostly I've been lazy, and this will likely continue. I got frustrated by seeing how many sources on the cog i want to write about are in foreign languages (Danish, Dutch, German, etc...)

-I have pretty much decided that I want to make a writing journal, and the only reason I haven't yet is because I can't think of a good name that isn't taken :p I have been collecting icons though. I made a cool one for Pieces, which I may sick in here for now, because it rocks pretty hard. My icons are low tech, but they serve ^-^ Imagine what I could do with an actual image editor?

Because I know there are people reading this who lack *any* context for this story, I went back through my journal and found the original post I'd made detailing the character and story background for Pieces. I edited it a little bit, and it can now be found here, sporting the shiny new pieces icon. If I do get a writing journal, I'll probably just move this all over there.
