Well, hmm. Now I am torn!
In the end, I left cookies with some of the second year MA's in the lab. They were well received. They were trying to decide what to do that evening and one of them (Matt, I think?) said that they might try and get ahold of me.. get my phone or e-mail from the secretary.
Anyway, I'm home now.. well, at the 'home' computers, at least. I just had dinner. I'm still lonely. I don't know if I should go and take advantage of guaranteed social interaction on the 'net (Damn but I wish I could use mIRC from here...), or stay home for the *potential* of having something real to do with new people. Maybe I will wait here until, say, 7:30, and then go up to the labs. I suppose if I am not home, they would probably guess that I am at the lab anyway, if they really wanted to find me. I'm going to go do some more reading in any case, but I'll probably wander back over here to see what's going on.
And I'll probably call Mary too... I have call waiting :)
