I just set up my tent outside in the backyard so it can dry properly.

I am wearing all white and remain spotless, and I think that is a good commentary on my mad camping skillz.

My superintendatd (one of them... landlord's daughter in law ;) mentioned that if I know anyone who is looking to buy good, second hand camping gear, they have some... tent, sleeping bags, camp stove etc. But not to mention it to the landlords because it was a wedding gift ;) So if anyone is interested, you know where ot inquire. Kind of. Well, ask me or oen of the other ladies ;)

Also, in better news, C is already back online! This is good but mixed news. You see, it sems that part of her motherboard melted, so she took the option of buying a new computer. Which is a good, but expensive solution. She is now just getting everything set up. I called her and found this out, because her mom came in to work today, and while I was sure that she (her mom) was overreacting to things just a *wee* bit, I wanted to let C know what we'd decided last night and to make reassurances that noone's evenings were ruined :) I had some good Perseity Solo, and started reading The Great and Secret Show. I realy like Clive Barker. He has a captivating sense of the Vulgar, the Human, and the Mysterious, and he often combines them to very good effect. I'm about a quarter of the way through the book (Which is pretty good for me considering I'm not a speed reader and have little reading time), so I *should* be able to finish it before I leave :)

Anyway, now it is time to eat some meat. Oh, yeah, and beans, and I should finish making that salad :o
