I am about to go to bed but I figured I'd write this first anyway.
I went shopping today with Mary and Clare (I think I'm spelling that right...). We raided about 4 or 5 charity shops. I bought velvet-y black pants/trousers, dark green jeans, a brown crused velvet skirt, an off-white crushed velvet top, and a little black top with red and gold brocade type stuff. A Decent haul that satsfied my urge to spend money to cheer me and double the pairs of pants that I have. Well, okay, maybe not the second part, but a lot of the other pairs of pants I have are not really wash-and-wear. The either require hand washing, ironing, or both. So they don't count ^-^. ALso the pairs I bought today actually fir me *properly* without the needs of safety pins, unlie the ones I brought with me from home. And I think they are both girl-pants too. Any this is the first time I've even owned jeans since high school, if not earlier that that. Rrowr!
I spent the night over at Mary and Ian's last night too. here were many many people there. Every mattress in the house was in use! I stayed on a mattress on the floor of their bedroom and got to listen to Mary read chapter 7 (I think) of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It was very relaxing. She reads to Ian quite regularly. I think it is really sweet...
Tonight, they and their varous guests went to Dissolution, a big goth night that happens monthly at the other university. Some time, I'll get to go to that. I went to a birthday party for my friend and Changeling GM Hugh. He also plays in my Tuesday night Vampire game. Eventually I just got tired, and went home. Then I called Joel. Then I came on here, and typed this, and talked to a friend of mine on ICQ that I hadn't heard from in a while, but who apparently reads this. *Waves at Derek*
And that is enough for tonight I think. Need sleep...
