Cleaning myself was one of the first things I had to do when I got home. I had to wash my hair twice to convince myself I'd gotten out the stink of cigarettes. Jodie, I used some of your conditioner. I shoudl probably get some of my own again eh? :p Anyway, I took a nice long bath and read most of a Fritz Leiber short story about fibs that become intelligent. Day by day, in every way, you're learning to listen....and obey. I'll probably finish it after i'm finished typing this. I got out because I heard the phone ring, but I was too leisurely about it and I missed the call. *shrug*.

My dad is going to be in town tomorrow! So, Hazel, take note, he'd like to get together and do dinner or something.

Anywya, I feel much better and cleaner. I was in the tub so long that my skin became so waterlogged that when I started to towel off, I rubbed off a layer of dead skin. eww. I'm sad for all my smokey clothes from Mocncton, though, because really they should all be washed if I want to wear them again without having allergic death fitrs, but I just did laundry on Friday. boo! I wore my new pants to the wedding too, and my red and gold silk brocade jacket (which received many compliments as always), and the latter Ic an't easily wash, so it will have to do with a good airing out. I'm also sad aboujt the extra clothes I took but didn't wear, like my new-ish black tank-top. well, I'll sniff it. Maybe having stayed in my bag will have saved it from the worst of the smoke. bah, and my grandmother is 'trying' to quite too! At least there was no smoking at thw wedding, or the reception. There was sherbet though. And marzipan on the cake. And chatting with my second-cousin(I think) Daniel and his girlfriend (Kim?) about pirates and various archaeology conspiracies, such as Oak Island, which was fun. Melissa looked wonderful, I was glad to be there.

Also, I bought my own copy of Songs of Love and Hate for about 10$ at the mall, since I know no one who owns it and can find it. So I can at least *listen* to Diamonds in the Mine. Which I think I will do right now!
