Sometimes when I listen to other people's advice, I get confused and things get overcomplicated. It turns out that I don't need a visa to get into the states! All I need is my I-20 (check!), my passport (check... kind of. It'll be here by July 6th ^-^), proof of sufficient funds (check, again, kind of...), and um, proof of binding ties to canada. which, um... I'm actually kind of short on. Bugger. But just a letter saying I am plannign to return here, I guess. maybe if I say my fiancee is here that;'ll do, har har :p I can make something up, and they may not even ask for it... 8hop*

So, I'm set, I just need to finish arranging my move....

Proof of binding ties? That sounds very nebulous. Regardless, good thing it simplified itself. :)
