I will be finished work on July 31, 2004. I have to be in Greenville by August 18th. I am hoping to take that interim time to visit folks in places like Toronto and Vermont. Is this cool? What dates will be best, considering that I will be driving down to SC (which will take 2-3 days at least), but also that I can probably be mostly packed by the end of July, and that I shoulds be able to afford planes and trains and so on for quick transport? East coast folks may get drop in/drive bys as I make progreess, depending on how things go...

Steve and I are planning to be in Mass. for a week or ten days in August, but it will for sure not be the first week of August, and more likely towards the end of the month. So closer to the start of August would be preferable for us, I think. Eee!

If your Travels in the Strange and Exotic Foreign Land of America bring you to Amherst, Mass, I'll be living above the Starbucks in the center of town. You get semi-authentic Mexican/Creole food if you stop by.

We *may* be going to Pennsic, but nothing is finalised yet, and I don't know if I can afford to take the time off from my theoretical future job. If we go, it will be in early August, but I don't know the dates. You are always welcome here in Norwich. Feel free to crash here as long as you like! Also, if you come early enough, you might get to meet my boy!

We have a bus terminal and an airport in Roanoke. A layover here should be considered mandatory, dammit!
