Last night I had a dream about Kung Fu stuff, and Shan. I don't remember all the details, except that we were in Odell park and we had these reall long (like, 6 foot), really wide (a good ten centimeters)razor blades that we were supposed to be practicing somethign with? Like, we wanted our hands to be as effective as the giant razer blades. I remember they were hard to hold onto efficiently, because they were so thin that they cut into your hands even if you weren't holding ont the sharp end, if you put any pressure into the hits. I was practicingcutting into trees, and somehow, we started talking about body hardening exercises. She showed me this technique she had learned or develloped, or been shown 9I don't remember exactly), where you just go to one of those metal fences (like the one by the deer enclosure, in fact), and just basically rake your knucklesacross it continually so that they will become toughened.

I think this was a dream about my being guilty for not going to king-fu on Tuesday. I will go this week, even though I still don't have any inhalers (the prescription hasn't been called in yet, last I checked), and just be careful. My astma hasn't been as bad lately anyway. I mostly blame moncton and Chinchllas for the hell of last week.

Right now I am at my mother's doing laundry. I was goign to work on a dress too, but well, I don't feel liek it. SO instead, I did some surfing, and made a Perseity post, and chatted with Jodie. My mother's house is rebelling at my being here. Last time I came over to do laundry, everything was set on Delicate, and I didn't notice at first, so I wahed the first load of clothes three times, and dried it twice, before it was actually done. This time, mom had left a mat in the overflow sink, and it overflowed all over everything. Bah! Well, mostly it went into the drain, and into my pile of still-dirty clothes, but it was still annoying. Mom isn't actually home, but out with a friend of hers to Green Village.

Yesterday, I went to a craft fair and looked at some pretty things, and bought some Christmas presents, notably one for my boss, who I was happy to find somethign she will like, for fairly cheap. Last night I wrote down the rest of my actual Christmas List. It is, I fear, too long :/ I need more money, but at the same time, I know that I am going to be getting two weeks less pay this month, because we won't be open from the 23rd to the 5th. poopbaby.

I feel unproductive todayt, because doing laundry doens't seem to be enough to justify all this time just sitting. I still have a load that just went into the dryer. i think I will go look at the dress and see if I can fixinate it. I screwed it up last time I was here, which is probably why I am loathe to mess with it again. *sigh* It will be nice when it is done, but I will have no where to wear it for it is riduiculously flowy and white. Also *sigh*. I still don't have the stuff to finish my corset, or the cahones to actually work on it at all. bah! I am hungry.

i read one of your old short stories, lan. actually it didn't actually have your name on it and i'm going to be horribly embarassed if i mistook who wrote it... but. it was breaking into the market, the one about dealing in souls. it was a great story.

that's all.

I was at my moms. And yes, it is one of mine. I quite liked it, but no publishers like it quite enough, alas :/

Publishers are stupid. I've been meaning to submit one of my stories to some for a while, but, oy, so much effort...

Actually, cojones is Spanish slang for balls. It's just the funny way that j's are pronounced in Spanish that makes it sound like "Cahones". Hope you un-meh soon.

Them's the benefits of workin' on a Spanish galleon, missy. Arrr!
