It is funny how being really active makes me so much more energized. It is like an inverted quation of some sort. the more energy I put in, the more I get back.

yesterday I went to Kung fu, and it was a fairly intense session. then I came and stayed up past midnight, easily, and in fact had to make myself go to bed (but not to sleep... that part was easy).

This morning, instead of being overwhelmingly exhausted, I'm awake, and it was easy to get out of bed too! I woke up naturally with my alarm. All is good, but I guess we'll see if it lasts :D

In other kung-fu news, my bruises just tell the world I wasn't using the right blocks for the exercise. Ahh well, I get it now.

After kung fu, I sleep poorly. I toss and turn all night, and then it's really hard to get going the next day. I'd do much better if I trained in the morning. Ah well.

Using energy gives energy.

Actually, once you've adjusted to a new exercise regimen, it tends to energize instead of drain you. Or, if you increase activity gradually, you just steadily get more energy. True stuff I learnt in phys ed. ;)

It's hard to sleep after vigorous excercise because of all that energizing adrenalin high that takes hours to wear off
