I made meat today! Well, okay, I *cooked* meat. Its parents made the meat. Mr and Mrs Meat, mmmm....
I bought stewing beef at the Stuporstore, and then I was trying to decide what to do with it. I had bread to go wioth it, so I decided against a traditional stirfry, because that would make me want rice instead. So, I decided to be creative. this is the delicious concoction I came up with:
Meat (Beef, I used. Hazel tosses in a porkchop for her lunch tomorrow, though)
apple cider (non-alcoholic stuff, but it would probably work well too)
onions, finely minced
spices: cloves, ginger, grlic and pepper.
I marinaded this all together for about 20 min or so, when my hunger overtook me, and I simmered all of it, juice included, in Jodie's wok. then I let it simmer more after it was all cooked on low so that the meat would be tenderer. yum! Delish! Hazel's pork witll probably be even better, too, because pork and apples are generally a good combination.
Now I am stuffed with meat and bread and feta cheese...
Also, as a complete non-sequitor, I wish that, when you are on a private or friends only list, and someone posts something to it, you could see who else was on said list!
I'm sure there were more things I meant to say, but Perseity made me forget.
Oh, yes, Joel will be home on the 14th, yay!

Friends-only listings
I can list who is on my "old-school" custom friends list if it'll help... that's the one I posted my "final kick in the teeth" one to.

Will have to do the list when I have time.
