She lives! I'm happy that one of my favourite authors (J.V.Jones) has not, in fact, fallen off the face of the planet, and has made contact with the living world less than a month ago, even. Hooray! I sent her an e-mail. In the past, when she isn't being a technological hermit, she has always been really good about answering them, which is one reason I like her so much. Well, besides her marvellous stories :D

Also, mom is going to go pick up Hazel from work, and then we are going out to dinner! Yay! And conveniently, hazel even called before she left, so I was able to tell her that mom was coming, when otherwise she might have missed her, and it wold have been a big disorganized mess. But now it isn't, yay! Yay for food, and books, and having fixed my harem pants! And for tomorrow's dance workshop :D
