elanya at 08:11pm on 30/07/2003So, I called the tax people today to explain to them that while when I did my taxes I did have accurate amounts to look at, I didn't actually have the form I needed (TL11A) because when I had done my taxes, I hadn't been able to figure out where to get it so that I could get it filled out by Sheffield.
The only answer I was able to get, after an indefinite amount of time listening to dead I while this addle-brained moron was allegedly looking stuff up was that some how, the British school was through some psychic miracle, supposed to know that *they* were to have sent me that form. And also, where they were supposed to get it from.
Christ. I mean, yes, *obviously* they are the ones who need to fill it out. I had been hoping that the tax idiots could tell me how to get a form, or where I could tell Sheffield to get one, or even who they might ned to contact. But no. All he could tell me was that magically, they should have it. I am to get in touch with them, and if they can't help me 'Then I guess you should get in contact with us again", said their phone rep, whoever he may have been.
God fucking damnit, but if the government is going to continue to meddle in my financial affairs, can they at least have competent civil servants on the case? I know they exist!
