You excel at Defense Against the Dark Arts. Which
is really good because who knows when you'll
run into that disgruntle troll or banshee going
through menopause.
Which Class at Hogwarts Would You Excel at?

Then a link to pictures from my Saturday morning (For any who haven't met me, I am in the white with the two long braids).
And finally, an explanation and a real update ^-^
Saturday morning, the new dance troup I am a part of along with Shan, Katherine and Lynsey (and possibly Nigel? I hear rumours but I haven't seen the lad yet ;) had booked a space at the market to engage in some hardcore dancin'. I stayed overnight at Shan's onFriday night, after we had a Henna part to get all gussied up. Well, I gussied Hazel's head, and then went back to finishing up my Turkish Doom Pants (I will note, for the UK folks that 'harem pants' *were* originally a form of underclothing). We arose in the wee hours of the morning (5am-ish) to get ready and walk to Katherine's. We had to be at the market for about 6:45, and we were... We set up, and got to booging! Ahh, it was fun. Exhausting, but fun. I was told by the creepy old groundskeeper of the Sports Hall of Fame that I turned him on. .... Yay. But we got cheers and applause and lots of other forms of less creepy appreciation. There were cameras and even videocameras out in abundance. Dave came through, took pictures of us (as seen above), and brought us tasty food things. Also, in an amazing streak of coincidence and kindness, we were stationned right in front of a guy who was selling water coolers, and he gave us free water all day! Thank's Ben's Water :D He also gave a mini lecture about why you shouldn't re-use the plastic bottles that most water and juices are sold in. Apparently the plastic is the lowest rade and will start to off-gas fromaldehyde. Yum!
Speaking of fromaldehyde... Well, I watched a movie last night in which a doctor tries to convince a kid that superstitions are silly and he shouldn't believe in ghosts by saying that people in town think that rum that comes from old preserved fetus bottles can cure cuts, and all sorts of other things, so that if he wants to heal his cut, he should drink some. Pretty clever doctor ;D The doctor drinks it, though, because he is impotent and wants to get with the Principal chick (Carmen). More on that later!
While dancing, I realized that I am a silly fool and I wasn't sure if I had told people to come and see me or not :o I called Rob, who came, and Joel, who had already left for work :/ Rob came, watched, exlored the market, and then helped us cart our stuff back to Shans, and came swimming! *And* he bough Shan and I ice cream :D I think I earned it though. I didn't have my own bathing suit with me, so I was borrowing bits from Shan. 'Bits' in this case being a bikini bottom and a tight-ish t-shirt that I had to tie under my boobs. After that, Shan went to teach a dance class, and Rob and I came back to my place so I could get changed/dressed, and then we to pick up Hazel.
We were hoping to hear from my dad, but he wound up having to go back up to the 'Shi, alas. So instead, i went out with Joel, yay! He picked me up on his way home from work, and we got Pizza Twice piza, and watched The Devil's Backbone, which is a Spanish Ghost movie, and really quite good. the ghost is very cool looking, and the plot was nice, and it was kind of arty, and I'd recommend it. Joel thought it was better than The Ring. Fetus rum! he also took me to see a movie this afternoon... T3, since it was the earliest one showing of the ones he had been thinking if seeing, and he hadn't seen it yet, so, voila. He liked it, and it was amusing to watch his reactions to different things.
And then I came home! And here I am :D I am posting this, and then going to look over my Perseity character before we start playing EiS in about an hour. wheeee!
I am listening to music to decide it's worthyness for my pirate show. Maybe I will have somethign ready for that by the end of the week. Excite!

I didn't think my post was *that* incoherent. I did talk about the Fetus rum. *and* the movie. Named it, even. *sigh*
