I've got him!
I made a desperate gamble, and this afternoon around 5, I sent an e-mail to www.ferncanyonpress.com where some books with articles that Ken Kinkor had written were being sold, and also he was listed as a contributor on a list of female pirates. I asked if they might know how to get ahold of him. They said they didn't like giving out people's addresses, but would forward my query to him. And I've already heard back and he says he is interested in my topic and how can he be of assistance? :D
So, tomorrow, when I'm more mentally alert and have decided exactly what I want to ask him, I'll be sending a note. Meanwhile, I'm going to play on IRC and eat some ice cream, and be generally content...
