Oh, Curtana, I know your pain...
I ran my game tonight. One of my PC's couldn't make it, because he works at a bar and has kind of irregular hours there. His character only got introduced last week, because he had to work during the first session too.
This session, the PC's decided to go on a road trip. And not tell many people, except for the Seneshal of the city, and the Toreador from they rented their horses. Neither of whom are the other guy's PC. Quoth one player "I know he has the PC Tattoo, but none of us like him, in game." Double d'oh, but maybe his abrupt and unfriendly manner turned them off ;)
So, they took off on a 4 day by horse cart journey. And it gets better! Once they have finished that errant, *that* group is going to split up too! ONe of them is going to go on a several *week* journey further north into Scotland, and another PC is going to go to Leeds, and neither of the groups is going to want to bring the Gangrel (they are all so secretive about some things...). Arg! I'd say it was because he is Irish, but.... alas, it isn't that simple. So, then, lord only knows what the gangrel (Patrick McGuire) will do. and then I'll potentially have 4 separate groups in a campaign of five people all doing different stuff and even potentially operating on seperate time lines!
What have I gotten myself into? O_O
I think I might have to engineer some stuff here shortly, to at least *limit* the number of groups involved....

Heh...
This is when you stick them all in a spaceship...
It makes life so much simpler.
