elanya at 07:08pm on 05/04/2003Someone was sick today at work, and, of course, didn't bother to call in. So there was me and Curtis the Slacker to do everything. We recruited lot of other poepl at cvarious points, but still wound up pulliing a ten hour shift. So, yeah, I'm a zombie. A zombie who is supposed to be gaming tonight, hmmm...
And a zombie who is supposed to be *dancing* tomorrow night! Yeep! If the guy is still 'sick' tomorrow (and we kind of suspected that sick=hungover), then Curtis will come in, so it will be less hellish. I suppose I shouldn't complain too much... I had a reason not to, but my mind has blanked on it. I guies I can complain all I want!
Oh, now I remember. It means more pay, afterall. But I'm sore and wiped. I had a half hour walk home on un plowed/shovelled sidewaks of ice-pellety semi-slush. And I have to do *that* again tomorrow, because the buses don't run at all. I really hope Joel is making food for me upstairs, but I'm dubious. Ahh well.
I'm going to go do some stretches, and instigate dinner, I think. arr....
