I imported it ages ago, and was crossposting to both for a few years. It's just the comments on the duplicate posts I care about. Is it possible to slurp them up into the existing DW version?

As long as the crossposts were done through DW, then yes: running the importer again will recognize "Ok, this is a crosspost" and just bring over any comments from LJ-side.
