elanya at 03:33pm on 13/03/2003I saw an autombot today, driving around town. It was a mint-green toyota tercel. Well, it had an autobot decal, so it *had* to be an autobot, right?
I saw said robot-in-disguise on my way back from my interview. It went swimmingly! caner we say 'hired on the spot'? ;D I can. Oooh, yes. It seems like it will be a pretty good place to worke, too. We get to share tips too, which is nice. Gord(on) seems pretty relaxed, and says he tries to keep his kitchen that way as much as possible. Looks promising, and at 7.25/hr, I'm not inclined to complain too much anyway :D I go in Monday for orientation. I guss I should call Liberty and let them know I'm not going to be at the BBQ place. Oh, for shame.
I have been thinking about what I want to do, as far aas archaeology job stuffs go. I've realized that I'm not really in any rush. I want to get started on getting my driver's licence... That's my next priority, along with paying off more of my various debts (as opposed to just paying off interest like I'm doing now). This current job will let me get started on both those things, and then I can look more seriously into archaeology stuff. And if Joel goes to Japan next year, I'll even be free to move around to where the jobs are, instead of being confined to looking locally. I suppose I could look into going to Japan with him, but I don't really think that is going to be a viable option in the long run. I'm too indebted as it is.
