Child Development
Vedran wanted to treasure each moment with his new son, the way he hadn't been allowed with Macen. But he was learning that there were always obstacles.
He came home from a meeting to find Edric racing down the hall after Saiya. He could have sworn he'd just taken his first teetering steps the week before.
When Vedran came home from Highmark with Macen, his youngest was chattering happy nonsense to 'mama' and 'dada'.
But when, at bed time a few weeks later, Vedran heard his first "I love you ada," he realized that the rest hardly mattered at all.
