So far I have one prompt, for today, from naryrising. I half expect it will go on like this, with her tossing me daily drabble prompts... Feel free to prove me wrong ^-^

Eyes of the Innocent
Arek gave Mercy and Xan space after Solange was born. They both had a lot more to navigate, emotionally speaking, than either had anticipated. When he did meet his granddaughter, her parents were so grateful for the break that he was able to steal her away for a few minutes just to himself.
Solange stared up at him, her blue eyes shining with happy innocence. Children were like mirrors; they could help you learn a lot about yourself. Solange grabbed his finger, and he smiled. "Hello there – nice to meet you." He wondered what all she had to teach him.
