Stupid hot, plus fan (DEVIL), plus unfamiliar sleeping place (crashed at Rob's), plus evening exercise, plus needing to take ventolin before bed = no sleep ;_;

Well, maybe longer. I am at House of Rob while he finishes the last item on his to-do list, which is finishing up his expense report. I am also chatting online with Rogan and Hazel, yay for google chat, easily accessed via gmail (this is a hint, Robbinses ;)!

I have been seeing a lot of people herer, and doing some wandering arounsd in the meting humidity. I'm not sure how best to compare the temperatures to Greenville - it is more humid here, and we have the humidex to report that, making it something stupid like 41C (105F), which is a lot hotter than Greenville, apparently, but I don't think they *have* humidex in the states, and I don't know if it is already calculated into the temperature or not. Whatever. It is hot everywhere, but Greenville has less smog.

Anyway, it has been *awesome* being here. It eally does feel like I belong with these people and such, at least when we are hanging out. Sleeping/living arrangements and such are a little more tricksy, because I am invading in other people's spaces, and I just have so much bloody *stuff*.

Tonight we are going to the gym for some kind of weight class thingy, and after that, who knows!? Probably hanging out at house of Julie and Steve some more. We watched the Lion I Winter, which I though I'd seen, but apparently hadn't. I love Katherine Hepburn... Also Timothy Dalton, who pretty much looks exactly how I picture Lathander for the few of you who know who I mean. Rar! It's been a Lath reference kind of week, as there was also some stuff in X3 that made me think of him (and Rob too, so it isn't just me ^-^).

Today, I bought sunglasses. I am hoping that I can actually keep them from getting scratched or broken, but they were only 15$, so I won't cry too hard if they do. They were 2/30$, and rob and I both picked up a pair. *hop*

I don't thik I have anything else specific to report. Scallywag is settinging int quite qell - I had bought him a wheel, but it was broken before I even took it out of the bag, so now I have to take it back, if I can find the store again. It is somewhere near Kensington Market. Well if I do go back I'll be able to get pastries too, which will be good. I didn't have any money when we were there before, but rob lent me some cash today, and I have had other offers too, since I can definietly pay folks back. I do have to get to a branch of TD though, but that won't be hard - they are all over the place here.

That is probably enough rambling from me, in anycase. My only great sadness here is that I don't have much time to myself, and probably won't., to work on things like my various writign projects. On the otherhand, when I go to NB I may have a lot *more* time, so we shall see how it allk goes.
