For the most part I agree with the voting but will someone tell me how Donna beats Ripley, assuming this is regular Donna and not DotorDonna. Same question for Elizabeth Bennet vs. Anya (it's not, I notice, the Elizabeth from P+P+Zombies!)
I made the assumption that the fights take place after then end of the characters last appearance, in which case Buffy beats Matilda who lost her telekinesis at the end of the book. So really Alanna should also have one up on Oracle (unless Barbara pulled the 'don't hit me I'm in a wheel chair' card and then sucker-punched the Woman Who Rides Like a Man.
In fact the only one I flipped a coin for was Ginny vs. Rose.
But the thing is, as I understand it, it's not literally about which of the two characters would win in a fight (although it's presented that way) - in the previous post, she explicitly says "So I guess imagine that I'm asking you which character you'd most like to have icons of/fic about/etc."
Some of those votes really didn't make any sense. If you hadn't mentioned who would win in a steel cage match, then I wouldn't have known why I should have voted for certain characters. And, honestly, Wonder Woman losing to Molly Weasley?? WTF??

I swear. This thing completely baffles me. Wtf?
(Because popularity has NOTHING to do with the premise, yet that's what carrying the votes. ARGN.)
