Toronto. Man, I have to say I thought that was one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen. I wish I could remember what hotel(s) I stayed at when I visited all those years ago. I don't seem to remember having any of the troubles you're having.
Nevertheless, have a safe and pleasant trip!
