yup, it sure is cold and wet and miserable out there. Joel should be getting off work shortly and if his parents are there to pick him up, hopefully they will be swinging by here to pick me up, and then stop at the co-op briefly to get some stuff, and then to his place for the evening, to do, um... something or other ^-^

Meanwhile, I've been reading the Pyrate book, which een had tongue-in-cheek little chapter summaries along the lines of "Oh, no what will happen to our dashing villaness? We will find out, but first we must return to the story of our dashing sea Captain, Avery..." sort of deal. I'm paraphrasing. I'm also eating KFC which we had delivered for dinner, and hoping that it wasn't a bad idea. I haven't had KFC in forever...
