Today has been a day for being foiled.
I was hoping to go to the Texas Reds Festival*, but I have a game tonight and the timing does not mesh. This is probably an okay thing since it also foils me buying a $20 steak dinner I don't need.
Then Aaron called to tell me that the Alberson's down by Walmart is gong out of business, and have lots of crazy mad sales. I was going to walk down but when i took her puppyness out for her pre-kenneling pee, it was 100 Fahrenheit (37.8 Celsius) and I think that if not the best time for an hour long walk (roundtrip, more or less), even in a teeny dress and with a giant sunhat. After game, maybe. And err, why did I agree to live in a tent in July?
