fire ants can be really nasty. I got bitten by loads of them when they got into my lunch cooler on site in Miami and I tried to rescue my food. Then I took an antihistamine and got so dozey I tripped on a rope and slammed my knee into the bedrock. I blame the fire ants entirely. Look after yourself.
