It turned out pretty well for what it was - people seemed to find it palatable, but I credit the jam. And also the custard. Mmmmm, custard!
Thanks so much for bringing over that pot - it was perfect! My only problem was that because of the fat in the pudding, in tended to float, and they are supposed to be completely submerged. I tried weighing it down with various ceramics and a grid of chopsticks, which eventually worked out okay :V
