So I just watched the season premiere.

That show is ridiculously good. Ridiculously. Seriously. Gah.

I would watch it again, too, if anyone was interested.

Last night, tethys123 and her husband invited me over, along with some other of their friends (Shaun, Cheryl, and Billy) for dinner, which Aaron cooked. He made chicken parmesan, which was delicious! Although it was served over pasta. I tried the pasta, but, no, I still don't like it. So i didn't eat it. And then he tried to send it home with me. Megan tried to save me, I think "she can't eat that, its all chickenified!". I think it left with someone else ;) But anyway, my enduring dislike of pasta aside, dinner was deeelicious! And the people there were all ace. After dinner, we played cards - I think the game is technically called 'ah shit', but could probably be known as 'damn your eyes, you black-hearted bastard!' or something with stronger language. I also sampled a variety of delicious liqueurs, which Shaun and Cheryl brought over. There is a thing called Chai cream liqueur. It comes in an orange bottle, and is made by Voyant. it is fucking *good*. Billy suggested it might make a nice mix with cointreau, grand mariner or some other orange liqueur. It would taste like Christmas. It is The Shit. Also tasty was a chocolate thin mint cookie liqueur, which tastes quite like a thin mint. There was a chocolate chip cookie one as well, which managed to capture the cookie bit as well as the chocolate, but there was a bit of a weird aftertaste, and it was too sweet for me to drink much. I did not win the card game this time (unlike my first time playing, where I kicked everyone's ass - beginner's luck!), but it was still loads of fun. Also, Shaun and Cheryl are gamers, and they insist that I must game with them. They have this one game that meets Tuesdays, but it is not required to attend every session... I can handle that. And, amusingly enough.... it is Mutants and Masterminds ;)
