Lunch and Livejournal!

This weekend was kind pf crazy social for me. I hosted mehan's Shindig, and then went to daemonoire's housewarming on Saturday night. Both were a lot of fun, with good people. Sunday i compensated by only leaving my house once, to check my mail.

I am getting on top of school again. I have actually done most of my readings for this week, and such. I am not ahead of the game, but I think that isn't too far away. if I can get started on my presentation for next week, for instance, I should be good. I hope that after that I'll have a better idea of what i want to wrote my paper on for Medieval. I think I might do the Maori for Empires and World Systems, but I want to look around and see what kind of info there is on them, and if any of it might actually ba applicable to the paper I am supposed to be writing for that class. And then I'll feel on top of things! Wooh!

But school isn't the only thing to work on. If I want to try and sell Cursed Wreck to DW, I need to send it before Nov 1, which means I need to polish it up. I need to start working on things like SSHRC grant applications, and other similar things as well. That's all stuff I've barely even started too...

So, yes, a lot on my plate, besides reheated pizza which is serving as something resembling 'lunch'....
