At first it was about Batman - there was a movie preview or something that made him out to be fighting all these... I don't remember. Werewolves maybe, or something? But then when I was actually watching the film, he actually snuck into this kid's place to give him a present, and his werewolf family (at least the men, anyway) were kind of evil, so the women all conspired to distract them while he escaped. They were all familiar with him. Actually, it might have been Nightwing, really, but he was batman in the story.
Then it kind of transitioned to being about these two sisters. At first they were these contacts of Batman's who were supposed to meet him at this safehouse/bar in the middle of nowhere, but when they got there the place was trashed. At first I thought they were just prostitutes, but it became clear that they were some kind of supernatural forced unto themselves. They went around kind of playing practical jokes on people, and sometimes killing them if they had to, or when they were getting foiled. At one point they had this hose that they were supposed to be hiding... I don't remember the details, but they had been flitting from job to job for a while, I am not sure exactly how long. It may have just been a night, but in dream time that gave them the chance to go through plenty of occupations. They were currently dishwashers at a restaurant of sorts, and were telling some of the other employees all the silly things they had done with th hose, as thought it was a bet. But one of the people there, one of the chefs or something, then told them they were fools, and that if they had really been paying attention, they would have realized that he was really a LaSombra clan vampire, etc etc... He had a really monotone voice and was clearly taking himself too seriously, as well as threatening their security/secret identities/whatever, and they needed to out him down. So they kind of diablerized him, only they weren't really vampires themselves, I don't think. But he thought they were, maybe? Anyway, then they had to compensate all the people who'd seen them somehow, which they did by using these stolen coupons that they could redeem for cash, or an Asian style bathroom or bedroom set. I think they wound up having to kill one of the humans. One of the sisters was much more blasé about it.
Then there was some kind of altercation with snakes. They were working at some other place, but I think everyone who worked there (it may have been a hotel) all lived in the same place. One night one of their female coworkers came to heir room and told them that she was off her anti-anxiety meds, and so she had told their boss about the snakes. Then I got a flashback: one of the guys who worked with them had been following them around because he had a crush on one of the sister (i can't remember if it was the meaner one or the nicer one), but I think it was the mean one, because she was slightly prettier (at least in this current incarnation). Anyway, they stole some mildly poisonous snakes, and put them in the boy's lockeroom/bathroom. he did get bit. i think the girl who told on them had a crush on the same boy, and she just wanted them gone. She was semi sincere in her apology - she just wanted them gone.
The sisters freaked out, thinking they would have to revenge themselves on the whole business, but the boss (Some largeish Italian guy) told them he knew what they were, and that they couldn't help themselves, really, as tricksyness was in their nature, but that he had called the cops and needed to be gone. So they gathered their things and dissappeared, speculation on what had happened to the guy. The mean sister was mostly mean because she never really believed that the consequences of her actaions were going to be as bad as they were, I think - she wasn't actually more mean, just more thoughtless. Anyway, after that it was kind of a blur about where they went and what they did (they lived in the sea for a while, and one of them became a pearl, and then they decided to go back up to land and be pretty again). And then I had to get up. It was cool and adventurey. One of the sisters had short poofy blonde hair, and the there one's hair was longer, and she had a thinner face. The blonde one had a big leather jacket and wore a lot of tight clothes (short shorts, mini skirts, etc) under it. They were both pretty hot in their own ways I suppose, but they really didn't look like anyone I know. Just some random tricksters passing through my dreams :) I think they had to be together all the time, too. Anyway, cool dreams. Also Batman/Nightwing was hot.
In other news, I have to remember to take something to read, or to do, when I am envigilating the exam this morning. Also, for Steve and anyone else amused by word silliness, a link to
skjaere's journal, where she has posted the new compound-ish words from the Washington Post Mensa Invitational thingy contest. I like sarchasm and glibido best, I think :)
