Hallowe'en party was really ace! I had fun, anyway. It was less crazy than some previous maritime parties, but then it was cold(ish). It is definitely fall, anyway. But there was a fire, and a dog dressed like superman/superdog. I know superdog has a name, but I can't remember it. If you didn't know before, I went as a princess, tsiankiio went as my prince, and her fiance, justnukeit went as our squire. Only when it was time for the costume contest, they decided we were a 'medieval threesome' :o hee! We did win a punkin' full of stuff though, so it's all good :) There were other prizes.... some gift certificates to food places, and a wetsuit, but we got *instant* graitification ^-^ I was pleased, anyway. The guy who won the top prize (wetsuit) had a really impressive1812-era American navy uniform that his mom made for historical interpretation for the site his sister works at. His girlfriend had a dess and bonnet from the same period Hell, I'll upload a pic here in a min, when I show off my costume ;) It was really cool, and also, he needed a wetsuit, so it all works out :D

Like Jodie, I drank a lot of the gin last night. I knew there would only be beer at the part, so I mixed up some of Krystal's patented Miramichi Gin Juice in my purple 1L waterbottle, and pretty much drank the whole thing myself. It was almost the whole bottle (probably ~300 ml) of gin too, eek! Well, people here can't complain anymore that they've never seen me drunk ;p There were also jello shots. Mmmmm, jello shots... I took a metric assload of pictures, but mostly they are of things and people that are irrelevant to you folks, so I'll just post the ones Justnukeit took of me and the prince and also my hair, because damnit, that was cool hair! Also Adam and Michelle, because they looked cool and were cute :)




I made tsiankiio's tunic, yesterday. I'm so proud of it! I used metallic thread and fancy stitichin and it is all trimmer with fake fur and such. Awesome. I've had the white underdress that I'm wearing for a while now. I made it, but didn't have any occasion to wear it. The blue overdress I found in a thrift store, possibly in Monkey Town. But it is pretty awesome. 'Kiio made the crowns.

I should have got one of the back as well, but still. it was all very fancy-like, and I did it myself :)




I didn't have enough room to get his boots as well, since we were standing on a porch, but they were also awesome. And I love her hat ^-^

hee! I don't think 'kiio and justnukeit are even goign to be home before these are up ^-^ I have a cute one of the two of them but I will pass that on to her, and she can put in in her journal if she likes (or not). We should have gotten a picture of all three of us :/ I also have cute pics of Dina and Matt, but you don't know them and probably don't care :p They went as Thor and his wench ;) He had the official inscribed hammer and everything :D

When I came home initially, I thought I needed a nap, but now I've been sitting around on the 'puter and I'm much more awake. I may still have a bit of a lie down when I go to set back my clock, though, just because it is early, I need to be of sound mind for finishing marking.
