Hey, Liz! Or theoretically Matt, who is les likely to read LJ regularly ;)

Not that you will necessarily see this, or see this in time to answer my question for when I would *like* an answer by, but my cursiosity is driving me batty anyway:

What was the name of the town in Italy where we did that event? yes yes, three years ago, buiut I thought you *might* remember details better than me :) Was it the Salt Wars? Who were they between? Who were the Itlaiens we were working with? You know, the crazy buggers who almost put out Mark's eye? *That* I remember! I remember someone telling me that the guy who was organizing on their side was the son of the Doge of venice or something, but was that actually true? Do you even have any idea what I am talking about? Will you see this? Will there be candy? :D

Stellata
Don't think it was salt wars (afaik that was more flemish)
Italians - NO idea :) but probably true - the last italiant event we were putting on a show for barbarossas descendant (Alserio)
yes
no

Was stellata /(ferreira possibly-i seem to remember something like this name from near the event site) and a few years before we did the show in alserio. I heard the doge theory about the venetian group as well but dont know if its true.

I know it was near Ferrara, but that's a fairly big pplace where the town we were in was... not. So Stellata it must be!

I was looking up the Doge thing, but apparently there hasn't been a Dige in Venice since the 17th or 18th century, so if he *is* the Doge's son, it can't be *The* Doge of venice... it must be something different now. It is still fun to tell people that I have fought under the command of the son of the Doge of Venice though :D

The Gentalmans name you are looking for is Masimmo. He is something special in Venice> I can ask Sapper if you like. And yes it was Stellata and the Italians were playing the men of Frerra (sorry about the spelling I am bad at it lol)
