Zombie
So I went to bed last night around 12, as I was sleepy and it seemed like a reasonable thing to do. However, I couldn't sleep, for a number of reasons. My neighbours were partying outsie my window (which is right above their balcony... brilliant design there :p), and I'd vaccumed earlier so my allergies were bothering me. I thought "Hey, I know! I'll take one of those decongestant allergy pills I have!" I thought this was a good idea because it was 2 am and I hadn't slept and was exhausted. So I wasn't thinking about the fact that they keep me *awake*. So, yeah, I didn't actually sleep at all, and my brain is not really *functional* but still kind of awake. meh. Also, my neighbours were being jerks again last night.... I'm sure if must be fairly regular, I'm just usually asleep. Some of the guys were calling insults through my mail slot. Bah. They were really clever things like "I'm from Toronto, *eeeeeeeeeh!*" (Of course, I'm *not*, so that was just confusing. I have no idea where they might have gotten that idea, unless they are really realy dumb.... not a possibility I am willing to rule out ;p)
Anyway, I was planning to work on fixing up my paper for Dr. Babits for a bit today, but I'm not sure how that will go. I also need to go out, probably to squallmart, and pick up some hamster food and some other bits (lightbulbs!). For now, I think I'm going to take a bath and read for a bit, if I can, because lying in bed and *not* sleeping has made me sore. boo ;_;
Tonight I am goign to maria's around 6:30, I think, and that shoudl be cool. She is showing off the stuff that she has worked with over the year... She made up her own degree with is like huistorcal costume design, or something ;) Material Arts, maybe? Anyway, she makes period clothing and theatre costumes, so I am curious to see what all she's made. Also, she is just really nice, and it is good to know other people who do sewing/costuming stuff, because they are good resources ;)
Maybe I should try to have some kind of stitch and bitch at some point... I know a lot of the people in my program sew or knit and stuff, and some want to try to learn.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tsiankiio has made sounds about making SCA garb, but I don't think she is really committed to the theory ;) "This is why I have a sewing machine, I don't sew. Someday, maybe, it will happen..." ;D Well, hey, at least she is honest. I have garb material that I've been hoarding for a good 6 years now -_-
