I have noticed a few strange little things here, on the grocery/food fronts.
First, is that I have only ever seen canned apple juice here once. But canned *orange* juice seems pretty standard. I think that is flat out bizzare. But people look at me strangely if I mention canned apple juice.
Second is that 90% of all ice cream comes if cardbord tubs, rather than plastic tubs. Only the absolute cheapest stuff comes in plastic, and I suspect that is because of the weight. Cardboard can only hold so much, you know?
And does anyone know when they started putting pull-tabs on Campbells soup cans? I mean, how lazy is that? :o
Also, not a grocery per sey... But since they don't sell Mars bars over here (too similar to another chocolate bar, I've heard, but I can't remember which one), they have *Snickers* with almonds instead. But really, it is Mars with almonds. Yum!
That's all I can remember at the moment, but I am sure there are other things.
