Oops, I made stew again, I guess it was pork, it was not chicken thighs!
Oh, yummy, yummy...
It all went in the pot, with carrots and snips, but I'd wanted stir fry!

...Right. Well, it is tasty enough, but it really isn't what I wanted and I have no milk to make any dumplings or biscuits :/

In other news, I think I need to turn up my fridge. It is maybe a little too cold. I'd put my jojoba oil in there, because it keeps better that way, I've read, but it solidified in the bottle! How bizzare. It melted at room temperature, but it was just sorta weird to look at. There was a bit on the bottle lip that pretty much melted right in my hands. It was kinda cool.

In other oil/perfume related news, a bunch of the freebies (2 of 5 so far) from my last BPAL order have been very rosey. I didn't think I liked rose scents, but these are making me reconsider. I really liked the first one. This one I don't like as much, but it isn't *bad*. I'm probably not going to keep it if I can swap for something else I'd like to try, though.

In compeltely unrelated news, Scallywag is retardedly fat! He gets all kinds of excercise, in both his wheel and his ball (where he is atm). Seriously, he is the biggest hamster I have ever seen. He is about the size of a rat, and it isn't just the fluff. I took some pictures of him sitting on my keyboard, and I will look into posting them later. What a cutie ^-^

I did go swiming after all. After a nap, even... whoops, something else I hadn't meant to do. It pretty much sucked. I had no drive, and no endurance at all, and the water was chilly, and the air was chilly, and it was dark and there were wolves after me. Whine whine whine. I'll go back on Monday and it will be better.

Speaking of wolves, I walked home afterwards, in the dark, and saw pretty much not another single soul outside. Not even a squirel. It was really nice. I admit it... as much as it freaks some people out, I *love* walking at night, especially when the landscape is empty. There is something about the atmosphere of the early evening that I like, with all the sounds of the wind, and humming of generators and air conditioners on campus, and the occasional cricket chirps, and the moon, and stars, and the orange glow of the streetlamps. Maybe I'm crazy. It's a theory that has not yet been disproved ;p Maybe I'm just one of those crazies who go out on the full moon ;) I was out last night too, afterall. Hmmm... And I did go to Wallmart of my own volition. That is pretty insane.
