As an update to mu Sunday night rage... The cat is fine, the house is fine, the bathmat has been replaced. I talked to my roommate, and we sorted things out like reasonable adults, basically. Kitty had forgiven me by last night, so it seemed fair. Also, our dogs are way too good friends for us to be able to not get along ;p

We both acknowledge I was right to be angry, but that it was an accident, and that it somehow happened despite her checking before she left for the weekend, probably while she was dogwrangling to get Kaylee out of the house. I acknowledged that the extremity of my reaction was probably spurred on partly by exhaustion and hormones - even though I was trying to not yell, I was apparently still mad enough that her bf, who was there at the time, thought that my cat was dead @_@

I really don't like being mad. Don't make me mad, m'kay? :)
