In the article I am reading on maritime villas in Britain (Tomalin, J of Mar Arch 1.1, p. 50):

"Unfortunately, the Gurnard Roman building was appropriated by Neptune in 1866 and has eluded scientific investigation."

Also, there is a town referenced in this article called 'Hamworthy'.

...Also, a villa called 'Honeyditches', which sounds like a name of a questionable brothel.

It's (sadly) been so long since I have really hardcore immersed myself in looking at what other people are doing in my field, that I'd forgotten how exciting it can be to read things that are new to me, that I can engage with - that makes sense, or don't, that make me want to write, to debate, or even just to point and laugh. Good or bad, I love what this stuff does to my brain. I'm filling with ideas, and soon I will let them overflow into my own work. I hope the writing comes as easily as it feels like it should tonight. There is a lot of stuff that has come out in the past few years that i need to revise into older bits i have written. It will all be for the good. I might make this chapter into an article, maybe. I'd really like to - it seems like it would be a good way to get some feedback before I move too far forward.

I feel like dancing - I hope I can maintain this momentum, but at the moment I'm just happy to have found it again.

I had to take a little break to bleed off some brain energy - you will probably see more of these little updates as I push myself to work and wrote more on this beast.
