Went to the steakhouse last night with belryan and two of the first years. Steakhouse was delicious as ever!

One of said first years has moved in to the house with one of the hosts of our regular Saturday movie night, and since he also apparently has a huge movie database, so to speak, it seems as though the tradition may continue! He also has the new Beatles Rock Band game, which is popular, apparently. I'm not such a raving Beatles fan as to prefer it to regular rock band or guitar hero world tour or what have you. I actually prefer to make my own characters. He also keeps a cleaner house, so props on that front. A bunch of other first years came over, which was cool. Although I feel in some ways as though I am going to have to go back in to 'hiding' to feel comfortable (relatively) in this crowd. Depending on the mix anyway. So we'll see how much energy I can muster for that.

However our new host also has another Thing at his house which has me enraptured. He has drum set. He let me play it. It is shiny and new. And black. @_@

I have been able to think of little else ever since! He said I could call hi whenever to go over and play. I don't know if his roomies will be so appreciative, even if he does have sound damping pads on most of it @_@

I do not comepletly suck despite the fact that it hjas been years sinece I've played. My once mad skillz may be better described as 'slightly ticked off,' but I don't suck :V
