insertfacyname put me on to Tegan and Sara, and now I find out they are playing in Austin next week! Alas, alas... I'm poor, and I have no way out there and back, and I am full of the sad ;_;

I should have known.

Last night, I got a call from a friend to see if I wanted to go out later in the evening, and said yes. It was for a costume contest, but I should have known better, and changed! I didn't get to go out after all. Really, considering how tired I was by the tie I would have been leaving, it was probably for the best.

The real shame is that i passed up an opportunity to go and hang out with some other friends who called later. Which would have been cool. But they went out for a drink to do soe costume watching downtown and saw a superbadass Starscream Costume that probably would have made me need to change my undies.

And now I am very sad.

I'm sorry Mystery Starscream... We missed out chance for.... Something. Hallowee'en tartyness? Who knows!

Instead I worked o my lab report, chatted online, submitted some stories to podcasts, and watched some early Avatar with Buck. Not too bad a night, but not really Hallowe'en-y either.

Now I am cramming some lunch into myself so I can see if I can cram together a last minute great applications through the department that is due this afternoon and that I only learned of this afternoon...

*drinks soup*
