I went to Maria's last night as state, but instead of watching movies, we wound up making gingerbread men :D We'd put some candied ginger in the dough for extra deliciousness, and thought it might make them look pimply, so we decided to make them awkward teenage ginger bread boys, and then we made some gingerbread accessories :D We made a laptop, and a violin case and a flashlight (for a boyscout) and a skateboard. Hee! Maria wound up making Mr. T. I pity da fool who eats my cookie! Theyb were pretty cute, anyway :0

I brought a book with me, expecting that I would probably go to sleep later than, and even possibly get up earlier than Maria (she has an actual job, see, and therefoe is on an actual easonable schedule). I grabbed a Flashman book off my sehlf. I started reading it, though, and realized that it is one I've already read. D'oh! I'd got it from the library (or Shan) in F'ton, and it had a different cover. Ahh well, I scanned through some of the good parts again anyway. I have a question for Shan though. Is Lola Mendez the chick with the scary giant penis palace from Lisztomania? Are you as disturbed as I am that I both made that connection *and* remembered that scene? :o This was in Royal Flash, the one where he meets Bismark.

Topday, I will finish my paper, I guess...Tonight is the Anth party. I haven't been assigned anyone as a secret santa, so I don't *think* I need to bring anything... I may run out and grab something just in case, though. If I don't need it, it will just go in Hazel's stocking ;) I want to run out at some point anyway to grab present supplements for the things I found for Grammie and AHA :) Atm, though, I am just kind of sleepy and bored. Rar.

I will continue working on my paper this afternoon. In an hour or so, I am going to see the Narnia movie with Tsiankiio and her boy. Tonight is the anth party. Tomorrow I am gaming :D Life she be grand ^-^

I didn't get to see Narnia, as it was sold out until the 10:00 show, and I had the party to go to. I don't know when I'll get to see it now. On the upside of things, I now have more presents purchased, and just need things for cat and Rob. Rob I can wait on and get something while I am in TO, and Cat... I know what I am getting, I think. I just need to get it. It will probably be late.

The party was fun, and I have now seen White Christmas, although for some reason I keep thinking Bing Crosby is Irving Berlin... just getting the names confused. I also got a present :o I wasn't expecting one because I came in late, and wasn't given a name to exhange with. I got a scarf and some cookies and a shadowbox thingy. <3!

Anyway, I should finish my paper now, or something. I have hopes for good gaming tomorrow... I'm all out of practice, and have no idea what we will be doing :o

I just had an idea for a story, inspired by this Bible Curse Generator: The Alliance of Inlaws. A conman is pursued and subject to vegnegce by a bevy of angry mothers-in-law of rich ladies who he has defrauded through shirt-lived marriages. Could be fun ^_^
