I have given myself a choice of goals and things for today.
I can either work on Thesis/chapter stuff, or I can start my mapping assignment that is due o Monday. I have read the main bosy of the Pottery as Plunder article, now, and it is.... very good. It makes me happy. I have alaso ordered another thesis, this one fro the University of texas at Arlington, entitled The Devil's Brethren: tracing the pirate counter culture in piracy's golden age from 2003. It looks quite promising and interesting. I should look and see if Sullivan has any other publications, but I'll wait and see what I think of his thesis. I'd hoped to start writing the introduction to my chapter today, but even though I've made an outline I'm still not exactly sure what I want to say, or how to say it. I mean, this is a chapter, and some things will be already introduced, so how much should I include for background? Ahh well. I will edit later, I suppose. I'm going to go start that while I make lunch. I am going in at 1 to print and prepare for France class. We may be having a guest speaker in Hist Arch. So we can ask about what it is like to do archaeology in Britain, see. *rolls eyes*. I think Dr. Ewen has forgotten that I went to school there for a year. My other classmates think it is funny, and I suppose it is, at that! The same guy is giving a lecture on castles in Ireland later tonight, and I will probably go to that. Then , if I decide to work on maps, I'll saty on campus and go to the library. Busy day ahead... Rar.
Sometimes posting to LJ makes my life feel all the more mundane. In other news, someone's wedding gift arrived today :)
