I told Tsiankiio I would help her with/make her Halowe'en costume. She is going as my Prince afteral ;) This afternoon we made a desperate scramble to Wall-mart, and lucked out by finding the absolutely perfect fabric: a medium weight forest green cotton. I washed and dried it, and we watched Batman. To be honest I can't say that I am really making her costume 'cause she is making her crown, out of wire, wicker, and various decorations. And a crown for me too :D But I did make her tunic. It is trimmed with a beige fake-fun and has metallic embroidery around the neck. I think I did a damned good job, all things considered :D It is 100% finished too, making this the first time I have finished a sewing project in one go in, well, a long damned time. Anyway, I'm tired and a little brain fried now. I did start marking exams, and it ought to go fairly quickly. I could do some more now, I suppose, but I think my eyes need a break. I never think to wear my glasses when I am sewing, or to at least have them handy.

I need to figure out how to do my hair for tomorrow, hmmm...

Oh yes. We stopped at Target, and they had black and orange knee-high socks with orange bows. How could I say no? Really, I just couldn't.

My belly has been bothering me all day, and I just loked in my mirror and it was all like "Hello Heather! Notice anything different? That's right, I'm *HUUUUUGE*!" ;_;

I don't know if I can blame any of it on bee bloating, or just on the fact that I have been eating a lot of crap lately :( Well, that will have to stop! Now I just need a chance to go get some real groceries somewhere... :p

Bedtime now, though. Whee!

I have finished marking the ientification section of this batch of exams, and it does *not* bode well. Not only did a large proportion of the students not answer enough of the questions, but there are a lot of just plain old wrong answers. Wrong wrong wrong. There is one question that I think two people got completely right, and maybe two other got partially right, and everyone else just got, well, *wrong*. I mean really, I think the average mark out of 40 on this section would be around 25, at the highest, if I figured it out. It's pitiful. Two people got 1 out of 40, which felt like a complete waste of my time to mark down. bah
